The Be Back Soon program offers no-cost, unlicensed short-term child care for young children. Care is provided for qualifying parents while they attend job interviews, training, medical, legal, social service or counselling appointments.

Children are cared for by Registered Early Childhood Educators and trained staff in a stimulating environment with enhanced safety protocols.

Program Information

Be Back Soon is available to families living with low income. Be Back Soon offers a variety of times for child care. Connections Early Years is located at 795 Giles Blvd. East.

Before leaving your child with us, staff will gather the following information:

  • Details of how we can best care for your child
  • Appointment details
  • Emergency contact person and phone number

Please call the Centre at 519.252.9696 to register.

Eligibility Information

Family Income Is Determined by the Following:
  • Most current Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency (line 236)
  • Most current Canada Child Benefit (family net income)
  • Ontario Child Benefit Notice (family net income)
  • Verifications of current Ontario Works Benefits
  • Verification  of current Ontario Disability Support Program Benefits
  • Verifications of Guaranteed Income Supplement
