An unlicensed, short-term child care program for parents who
qualify to receive quality childcare to attend appointments

This program offers parents who qualify an opportunity to leave their children 0-6 years of age at the Centre for a short period of time while they attend medical, legal, social service or counseling appointments, job interviews or workshops.

Your child will be welcomed into the Centre’s play area where a staff person will meet you.

This program is available to families living with low income.  Family income can be determined through the following documents:

  • The most current Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency (line 236)
  • The most current Canada Child Benefit (family net income)
  • Ontario Child Benefit Notice (family net income)
  • Verification of current Ontario Works Benefits
  • Verification of current Ontario Disability Support Program Benefits
  • Verification of Guaranteed Income Supplement

The child care program provides enrichment opportunities and social experiences for your children.  Registered Early Childhood Educators offer a safe, stimulating environment to enhance the play experience.  In addition to the staff, carefully screened and supervised volunteers will provide one-on-one care for infants and young children.
